to the Sunshine Baptist Fellowship web site.
This
growing association of churches and people is a biblical experience of meaningful
fellowship, spiritual growth, and fruitful ministries that are faithful to the
Scriptures, dynamic, relevant, and spiritually fruitful.
The
various events for adults, families, teens, and ministry professionals are proving
to be very exciting and helpful. Many pastors and people attending the various
events are reporting great blessing, meaningful fellowship, stimulating preaching
and teaching, along with exposure to helpful resources.
The fall
conference event was a great time of fellowship and encouragement. The
spirit was great, the fellowship was great, and the sessions were an encouragement
and a challenge. Click here to see some

If you missed the fall conference, you can still
get in on an event happening next spring at
Bethany Baptist Church in Avon
Park, FL. It is titled "Pastor's Workshop", and the cost is $5. It is
open to pastors and non-pastors; all are encouraged to come. Click

Lake
Worth - Two weeks ago myself and the three other pastors...along with three
other men from the church spent the week in Costa Rica with CWE - Construction
For World Evangelism) building the Wendell Kempton Ministry Center in San Jose
for SCORE Ministries International. We had a great time and were able to see several
men come to Christ as a result of our ministry there. Last Wednesday (10/7) we
had a mini revival with 15 teens responding to the salvation message and going
out of youth group to be counselled by a youth sponsor. These 15 prayed to receive
Christ and tonight (10/15) we will begin the follow-up and challenge toward obedience
starting with their baptism. - Pastor Paul Sorber
Punta
Gorda - We just voted to enter a building project that
includes a new kitchen, double our parking lot, remodeled fellowship hall,
expanded platform in auditorium, and a remodeled nursery. God has blessed with
several new young families attending. We have started
a ministry geared to
them called STRONG Families, who meet monthly for fellowship and activities. Pray
for wisdom in directing these
new endeavors. Pray for us as we begin the process
of searching for a youth pastor. - Pastor Jim Stultz
Other
churches are experiencing bumps, potholes, and mountains - that's part of having
a church ministry.
